Formara are delighted to announce that we have been
awarded CarbonZero status. We offset our carbon
emissions by working with co2balance.com to invest in a
project to replace kerosene lamps in Africa - Solar
Lanterns in East Africa.

In recognition of the
efforts Formara has made to protect the environment,
The British Association of Print and Communication (BAPC)
awarded them the Environmental Print Business of the
Year. The award was independently judged by the
British Print Industries Federation (BPIF) and
highlights Formara's commitment to reducing their
negative impact on the environment.
August 2007
The latest UK Biodiversity Action Plan showed almost
1,150 native species in 65 habitats are in danger around
the country and in urgent need of special
protection.
As a gold member of the Essex Wildlife Trust, Formara
are contributing to the conservation of local wildlife.
Many of our previously common animals and birds are
becoming rare sights in the UK. The Countries Ecology is
under threat and Essex Wildlife Trust is carrying out
vital work in protecting parts of Essex from development
and helping to maintain areas necessary for our wildlife
to thrive. There are 7,250 acres of land on 87 nature
reserves and a nature park that Essex Wildlife Trust
manages. We are proud to be supporting such a vital
cause.
